My clients often ask me to share the best event to bring fun into the workplace. My response: Fun is an attitude, not an event! People will have fun when they get to work in an environment that is respectful; open to creativity and new ideas; and fosters communication among all levels.
They will have fun when the leader is excited, shares a powerful vision, and empowers and expects everyone to achieve great results!
Casual Fridays, barbecue luncheons, crazy hat day, and team outings will never replace the power of a supportive, creative, curious, questioning, engaging, affirming work culture that gets everyone excited about being part of the team!
