FAQs

Frequently Answered Question (Answered by Cher herself!)

Do I really get to work directly with you, Cher - or will you pass me off to other coaches?

Absolutely you get to work directly with me! I am personally invested in helping you maximize your skills in creating and using powerful engagement and interaction tools.

What's the difference between "Just In Time" mentoring and the Retainer program?

Great question! The "Just In TIme" mentoring is useful when you need something very specific. For example, you are creating a new program and want a unique way to get people engaged around the topic, or you are dealing with a tough group on an ongoing basis, and are looking for ways to get them involved. You have a specific need that needs help.

On the other hand, the Retainer program is set up to work together to build your "Engagement/Interaction" Tool Kit. We can work on very specific needs, as well as develop your skills in creating unique activities, generating interaction, and debriefing for unforgettable results.  Plus, with the Retainer program, you get unlimited access through email and texts, in addition to our one-on-one sessions. While this is not for everyone, it is perfect for trainers and facilitators who are serious about refining and growing their skills.

How do we meet for our sessions?

We can do it either via Zoom or in person at my location, or a combination of the two. My goal is to make it as easy as possible for you.

How do we determine what happens during a session?

My process is simple. Together we agree on what the expected outcome will be. Once we have the same vision of success, we dive in! We will agree on the outcome prior to beginning our actual session, so none of your precious time is spent clarifying our goals.

Please be aware that outcomes must be proportionate to the time allotted. [For example, we obviously can't create a full program of interaction activities in one hour!]

What is your policy of confidentiality?

I take confidentiality very seriously. All our sessions are conducted under strict confidentiality agreements. This means that any information shared during your sessions will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

Who owns copyrights on material created during my sessions?

If unique material is created specifically for you as a result of our sessions, then you own the material and the copyright. When we co-create activities that are more generic in nature, you have the rights to use and adapt these materials to meet your needs. If you adapt the material in a unique way that is distinctively yours, you may copyright that material. However, you are responsible for any purchase costs and paperwork related to obtaining an official copyright for these materials to ensure you have the legal documentation to protect your rights to the content. If you choose to pursue official copyright registration, I recommend consulting with a legal professional to guide you through the process.

What if I have more questions before signing up?

Whether you are choosing the "Just in Time" option or a full-scale Retainer program, a mentoring program is definitely a big decision, and it is not for everyone! My goal is for you to feel comfortable with your decision, so I encourage you to contact me with any additional questions you might have.

If you'd like to have a chat about what I offer, please use my scheduler to set up a 30-minute complimentary session to talk about your needs, and get to know me better.

Can I continue with mentoring after the 3-month Retainer package ends?

Absolutely! You are guaranteed the option of renewing the package in 3-month segments, for an unlimited amount of time. You also receive the guarantee of renewing at the same rate, even if the cost has increased since you began.
